Under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), your personal data is processed by Dr. Nil Yazıcı as data controller, within the scope described below.

Personal data processed

Identity data: full name.

Contact data: phone / WhatsApp number, email address, country or city of residence.

Request data: the treatment you are interested in, your preferred language, planned travel dates and the content of your message.

Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device information, visit logs.

Health data is not requested through the contact form. Health data needed during examination and treatment is processed separately, in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 6 of the KVKK.

Purposes of processing

Your personal data is processed to respond to your information and appointment requests, to plan consultations and appointments, to coordinate transfer, accommodation and interpreter support for international patients, to carry out communication, to ensure information security and to meet legal obligations.

Method of collection and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form on the website, WhatsApp, phone and email, and through cookies.

Under Article 5(2) of the KVKK, this data is processed on the grounds that it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract, that it is necessary for the data controller to meet a legal obligation, and the data controller’s legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed; and, where required, on the basis of your explicit consent.

Transfer of personal data

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to suppliers of hosting, form and communication infrastructure, to partners providing transfer, accommodation and interpreter services if you request them, and to authorised public bodies, in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Where the servers of the service providers used are located outside Turkey, transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK. List of service providers: [to be added].

Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information about it if so; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose; know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK; request that third parties to whom it was transferred be notified of any correction, deletion or destruction; object to an outcome against you arising from analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

Applications

You can submit requests regarding your rights in writing, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or via registered electronic mail (KEP), a secure electronic signature, or an email address you have previously notified to the data controller and which is registered in its system.
